“The program has a lot of potential to be great and I wanted to be a part of it and contribute as much as I can”

Lockhart talked about the recruiting pitch from Coach Robinson and the Alabama State staff:

“What I took out of talking with Coach Robinson and the staff was that they wanted to contend for a championship now. On top of bring in great players from the class of 22 and the transfer portal, I can see that there is weight behind what the staff is trying to accomplish.”

The newest Alabama State transfer also addressed what the Hornet fans should expect from him on the field entering the 2022 season:

“What the fans can expect from me is energy. I’m here to do my part and win as many games as possible with my teammates.”
