Campbell is coming off the highest ranked recruiting class in school history and the Camels are on pace to have another Top-3 FCS recruiting class this cycle. The latest commitment comes from 3-star ATH Elijah Rogers who announced his commitment to the Camels on social media.

Rogers plays both wide receiver and defensive back at Oak Ridge High School. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound athlete is a consensus 3-star prospect and ranks as a Top-130 ATH in the class of 2023. Rogers totaled 244 receiving yards, 2 receiving TDs, 100 return yards, 29 tackles, and 2 INTs in only six games last season. Rogers is a three-time All-District selection at Oak Ridge and was identified as one of the best athletes in the state of Tennessee. Rogers will look to build upon his promising junior season and a fully healthy season could lead to even more accolades for talented senior.
Rogers announced his commitment to Campbell over offers from Coastal Carolina, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, and multiple other FBS programs. Rogers projects as a wide receiver at the next level, but could find a role on either side of the ball for the Camels. With the commitment of Rogers; the 2023 recruiting class for Campbell ranks 112th in the country, which is currently 4th in the FCS.
Mike Minter and the Campbell coaching staff have done an excellent job on the recruiting trail the past two seasons. The Camels have landed 12 three star prospects out of high school in the past two recruiting classes, while also landing multiple impact transfers this offseason. This success has the Camels as one of the favorites to win the Big South this season, which would be the 1st conference championship at the FCS level in school history.
